IPTV on Firestick in the UAE: Setup with VU Player, IBO Player or HotPlayer
To watch IPTV on a Fire TV Stick in the UAE, you install a player app, open it to get your MAC address and device key (or log in with your details), and link your playlist. Search the Amazon Appstore for the app first. If it is not listed, install it from the developer’s official site with the Downloader app. Setup takes about ten minutes, and our support team can add the playlist for you on WhatsApp.

What you need before you start
- An Amazon Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Stick 4K or 4K Max, or a Fire TV Cube, plugged into the TV and connected to the internet.
- An Amazon account signed in on the device.

Which app to use on a Fire TV Stick
We recommend five player apps: VU Player, IBO Player, HotPlayer, CR7 Player and IBO Smart Player. They are players only. They contain no channels; you add your playlist to them.

Some MAC-based apps charge a small activation fee after a free period. That fee goes to the app developer, not to us.
Step 1: Prepare the Fire TV
A few settings make everything that follows faster. Restart the device (Settings, My Fire TV, Restart), make sure at least 1 GB of storage is free, and connect to the 5 GHz Wi-Fi network or, better, an Ethernet adapter. Our Firestick hacks tool has the exact menu steps for each one.
Step 2: Install the player app
If the app is in the Amazon Appstore
- On the home screen, open Find (the magnifying glass) and search for the app name.
- Select the app and choose Get or Download.
- Open it once it has installed.
The apps you see depend on the country of your Amazon account, so an app may be listed for one household and not another.
If the app is not in the Appstore
- Search the Appstore for Downloader and install it.
- Go to Settings, My Fire TV. If you do not see Developer Options, open About, highlight your Fire TV name and press Select seven times, then go back.
- Open Developer Options, choose Install unknown apps, and switch Downloader on.
- Open Downloader and type the download address published on the app developer’s official website. Install the app when asked.
- Go back to Install unknown apps and switch Downloader off again.
Only install apps from the developer you trust. Never install unknown “builds” or modified apps; they often carry malware and break without warning.
Step 3: Get your MAC address and device key
Open a MAC-based app. The first screen shows a MAC address and a device key. Take a photo of it with your phone and send it to us on WhatsApp. We add your playlist from our side, usually within minutes, and you restart the app to load your channels.
Using a login-based app instead? Choose the Xtream Codes or login option, then type the username, password and server address exactly as we sent them. A Bluetooth keyboard or the Amazon Fire TV phone app makes this much quicker.
Step 4: Get a smooth picture
- Use a cable if you can. An Ethernet adapter for Fire TV removes Wi-Fi drop-outs during busy match nights.
- Power from the wall. Use the adapter from the box, not the TV’s USB port.
- Set the resolution. Settings, Display & Sounds, Display, Video Resolution. Choose 1080p if 4K buffers while you sort out your speed.
- Clear the app cache weekly. Settings, Applications, Manage Installed Applications, choose the app, Clear Cache.
