One of the main reasons people in the UAE switch to IPTV is choice. More than 200 nationalities live here, and most households want something a single local package rarely gives them: live sport plus channels from home. Our service carries 52,000+ live channels and a large on-demand library of movies and series. This guide explains the main channel categories, who each one suits, and how to check that your favourites are included before you commit to a long plan.

Channel line-ups change from time to time, as broadcasters launch, rename or close channels. The most reliable way to check is the live list in your app during a short first plan or test.

Sports channels

Sport is the biggest reason people watch IPTV in the UAE. Football leads, with the Premier League, Champions League, La Liga and Saudi Pro League drawing the biggest audiences. Cricket comes a close second, with India and Pakistan matches, the IPL and PSL, and international tours. NBA, tennis, Formula 1 and combat sports have their own strong followings.

Matches abroad often start late at night or early in the morning here, so we keep daily fixture pages with times already converted to UAE time (GMT+4):

Broadcast rights change by competition and season, so check which channel carries a match before kickoff.

Arabic channels

The Arabic section covers Gulf and Emirati channels, the big pan-Arab entertainment networks, Egyptian and Levantine drama, news channels and Arabic kids’ channels. During Ramadan, demand for drama series jumps, and many viewers watch episodes on demand after iftar. See our guide to Ramadan channels and Arabic drama.

Indian and South Asian channels

Indian viewers are among the largest audiences for IPTV in the UAE. The line-up covers Hindi entertainment and news alongside regional languages, with strong Malayalam and Tamil sections because of the many families from Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Cricket coverage ties the section together.

For Pakistani viewers, there are Urdu entertainment and news channels and PSL coverage. See Pakistani channels on IPTV.

Filipino, Sri Lankan, Bangladeshi and Nepali channels

Communities from the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal can watch news, teleseryes, dramas and variety shows from home. These are often hard to find on local packages, which is why many families pick IPTV in the first place.

European and international channels

UK, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, Russian and other European channels are included for residents who want news and entertainment from home, or sport commentary in their own language.

4K channels

Some channels stream in 4K, mostly sport and selected entertainment. To watch in 4K you need:

  • a 4K TV, or a 4K Firestick or Android box,
  • a steady 25 Mbps or more on that screen, ideally on a cable,
  • a player app that supports 4K playback.

If 4K stutters but HD is smooth, your connection is the limit. See our IPTV speed guide and the buffering fixes.

Movies and series on demand

Every plan includes an on-demand library of movies and series, separate from the live channels. You can pause, rewind and start any title when it suits you, which is handy for catching up on a drama or watching a film after the kids are in bed.

How to check your channels before a long plan

  1. Write down your top five channels, the ones you would actually miss.
  2. Start with a one-month plan or ask us on WhatsApp about testing first.
  3. Use the search in your player app to find each channel.
  4. Test at peak time, 8–11 PM, on the screen you watch most.
  5. Move to a longer plan once you are happy. The 12-month plan gives you 14 months for €59.95.
