IPTV Simultaneous Connections: Watching on More Than One Screen

One Screen, Many Devices
Written and checked by · Last checked · How we write our guides

A simultaneous connection is one screen playing at the same time. Each of our plans is one line, which means one screen at a time. You can install the app on as many devices as you like, the living room TV, the bedroom TV, your phone, but only one can play at once. This page explains how connections work, why providers limit them, and how a family can set up two or more screens without overpaying.

How connections work

What you do What happens
Install the app on 3 devices, watch on one Works fine
Switch from the TV to your phone Works fine once the TV app is closed
Two people watch on two TVs at the same time The second screen will stop or show a connection limit error
Leave the app open on a TV in another room It may still count as “in use”

Why there is a limit

Every live stream uses capacity on the provider’s servers. Limiting each line to one screen keeps the service fast for everyone, especially during big matches when thousands of people watch at once. It also protects your account: if someone else gets hold of your login, they cannot watch at the same time as you without you noticing. If two people at home want different Premier League matches in the UAE at once, add a second line.

Watching on two or more TVs: what families do

If your household wants two screens at the same time, the answer is a second line. Some practical tips:

  • Match the plan length of both lines so they renew together.
  • Take the 12-month plan for both if you are staying in the UAE: each one gives 14 months and the lowest monthly price.
  • Label each line in your apps (for example “Living room” and “Kids”) so nobody mixes them up.
  • Check your internet speed: each extra screen needs its own share, about 15 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps or more for 4K. See our speed guide.
  • Refer friends: when a friend buys a plan of 3 months or more, you get 1 month free. See the referral details on our plans page.

Message us on WhatsApp if you want two lines, and we will set both up for you.

“Max connections reached”: how to fix it

  1. Close the app completely on every other device, including TVs in other rooms.
  2. Wait two or three minutes for the server to release the connection.
  3. Open the app again on the device you want to use.
  4. Still blocked? Check your line with our free IPTV checker. It shows how many connections are in use right now. If it says 1 of 1 and nobody at home is watching, someone else may have your login. Message us and we will reset it.

Keep your login private

Do not share your login outside your household. Shared logins are the most common cause of connection errors and freezing, because two people end up fighting for one screen. If you think your login has been shared, we can change it for you.

Every IPTV UAE plan follows the same one-screen rule, so a second TV simply needs a second line.

Ready to watch?

Test our service free for 24 hours on e& or du, no VPN and no card. If you like it, plans start at €7.95 a month, or €4.28 a month on the 14-month plan.

Frequently asked questions

How many devices can I use IPTV on?

You can install it on as many devices as you like. Each plan plays on one screen at a time.

Can I watch on two TVs at the same time?

You need a second line for that. Message us and we will set it up.

Why does my IPTV say max connections reached?

Another device is still connected. Close the app everywhere, wait a few minutes, and try again.

Does a family need a special plan?

No. A family that watches on two screens at once simply takes two lines, ideally on the same plan length.
